I have a new favorite flower. In case anyone wants to remind me of my grownup goal of frequent bouquets.
Only problem is, don't think you get this feeling in a vase.

Ooh, that is incredible. I am still pining for RMNP, so your enjoyment of the routine of everyday life can be an inspiration for me. But (and this is a genuine and not at all facetious question) really, why can't a larger portion of our lives be dedicated to alpine traipsing . . . ?
Ros! I owe you a call to hear about your trip. Yesterday's enjoyment of the routine (first weekend home in 3 weeks, lovely!) involved going to a forest preserve an hour away. Alpine traipsing is much preferred. What are the chances I can move to Colorado?
